What is wool felting?

It is the process of joining fibers of wool that is a soft and airy material.

And that is achieved in 2 ways:

Needle felting

Using a felting needle

With a felting needle (it has three edges and some incisions that allow the fibers of the wool to be joined) we prick our wool to obtain the shape we want.

ā€‹

It is a simple and very intuitive process.

Wet felting

Using water and soap

With warm water and soap we massage our wool to gather the wool fibers. The combined action of hot water and the PH of the soap causes the fibers to join together into a very resistant felt.

ā€‹

It is a very sensory process and accessible to all ages.
